Shoot 'Em Up

(USA, 2007, 86 minutes)

A mysterious gunman helps a pregnant woman give birth but finds it's her baby the bad guys are really after. Ludicrously outrageous actioner that seems assembled exclusively for the purpose of providing a number of unbelievably preposterous action setpieces expertly performed by a cool-looking cast; but it's all done in such a tongue-in-cheek manner that it becomes a truly enjoyable moment of utterly mindless, braindead fun. Has to be seen to be believed.
