Five Minutes of Heaven

(Great Britain/Ireland, 2009, 89 minutes)

A television programme attemps a reconciliation between two tormented men who've been on different sides of the Northern Irish Troubles: the younger brother of a murdered Protestant and the Catholic volunteer who killed him. Taut, brisk little two-hander with a lot on its plate, smartly handled but really made by its strong, live-wire leads.
